i think i might just like 2:14am

Hi!
So, I found a really cool website today where I could practice SQL — not even practice, actually. I have zero knowledge of SQL, but they turned it into a game where you have to solve a murder case using SQL.
How cool is that, right?
It all starts with an ERD (Entity Relationship Diagram). It's basically a structure that shows you what columns each table has and which columns are shared between tables—essentially connecting them through common fields. Think of it like a map of how all the data fits together.
At first, it genuinely looked like a maze, and I had absolutely no intention of using AI — I mean, this wasn't just tech. It was a MURDER MYSTERY.
The site does give you some hints, and there's a walkthrough to help you get through the basic steps. From there, you're on your own—trying out queries, piecing clues together, and working your way toward the solution with as few prompts as possible.
And this isn't the only game out there — the internet is filled with things like this. Gamified learning makes the whole process so much more enjoyable, and while this might just be a headstart, at least we're getting somewhere. More importantly, it sparks that curiosity in you.
Also, I genuinely cannot describe how ecstatic I felt once I got the hang of it.
Like — WOW. I can actually figure this out. On my own. Without AI. In a world where I've been doing almost everything through AI, it felt incredibly refreshing to work through something from scratch.
And now I'm making myself a promise—to use AI not as an 'Artificial Intelligence' tool, but as an 'Assisted Intelligence' tool, just as my professor once put it. To use it only to polish things, not to replace the thinking entirely. (just like I did it with this text)
